Yuanning Feng receives the official offer letter from the University of Oklahoma for his assistant professorship at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
It is official! Yuanning will join the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma (OU) as a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting on August 16th, 2023.
OU is the state’s flagship and largest university in Oklahoma. The university is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity". The Feng Group is housed at the Stephenson Life Sciences Research Center (SLSRC, a newly established building) with 2,200 sqft of laboratory and office area.
We locate in Norman (the third-largest city in the US state of Oklahoma), a college town containing approximately 130 thousand people (1/4 are OU students and faculty members). The city has a very low crime rate and low cost of living, while the cultural diversity is high as a result of international students and scholars associated with the OU. It is located in the Oklahoma City (OKC, the state capital and largest city) metropolitan area and 190 miles from Dallas, the fourth largest metropolitan area in the US.
